Once Readers have finished a book and are ready to start earning prizes, they go to Quiz-O-Matic to search for the book they read. Once they have entered the title or author of the book they read, clicking on the title takes them to the book's quiz. Each quiz contains either five (for books grades K-3) or ten (grades 4-8) questions, each with four answer choices. As soon as a quiz has been completed, the Reader sees his or her points displayed based on how many quiz questions were correctly answered. The Reader must get at least a 60% on the quiz to earn points. Therefore, each quiz can be taken twice; only the highest score is recorded. The Reader may then re-take the quiz, take a quiz on a new book, or, best of all, check out Prizes!

All prizes are donated by Book Adventure Sponsors. Readers can come to the Prize page after earning points to request prizes, or before taking a quiz to find prizes that they want to win. Once a Reader requests a prize that requires a supervisor's permission, his or her supervisor is notified through e-mail so that he or she can approve it.
